After 60 days the website and portal are taken offline, not deleted, and come straight back when you pay. What is van software?
One system that runs your jobs, customers, invoices, certificates and route from your phone in the van. It opens in your phone's browser, so there's nothing to download or update, and no laptop needed.
Do I need to download an app?
No. It opens on your phone from a link, like a website. You can add it to your home screen so it sits with your other apps.
I'm not a gas engineer — is this for me?
Yes. Your website, online booking, AI PA, jobs, sat nav route, voice to invoice and reminders work for any trade. The landlord gas safety certificate is an extra for gas engineers.
Can I ask for changes to my site?
Your site is built from the details you give us on your form, using a proven design that already works. If we make a mistake, we fix it free. Design changes and extras are not part of the package — that is how we keep it at £499.
How do I pay?
We send you an invoice for the £499 setup. The £96 a month is collected by Direct Debit through GoCardless, starting the day your site goes live. We start building as soon as the invoice is paid and the Direct Debit is set up.
What happens if I stop paying?
Your domain and your content stay yours. The website and portal run while your subscription is paid. If a payment is missed you have 60 days to put it right. After 60 days the website and portal are taken offline, not deleted, and come straight back when you pay. You can ask for an export of your customers, invoices and certificates for 30 days after that.
Do I own my domain?
Yes.
Do I need to be good with technology?
No. If you can take a photo and talk, you can use it.
Can the AI send a certificate or invoice on its own?
No. It drafts, you check and confirm, then you send.
Will my site look like Urmston’s?
No. Same proven system, your own look and your own branding.
Do you fit out or rack vans?
No. Trades Van Systems is software: your website and the system you run from your phone in the van.
Do you sell my enquiries or leads?
No. Every enquiry from your website is yours and goes straight to you.
When is the AI receptionist available?
It is coming next, as an optional add-on. It is not included in the £96 a month. We will tell every customer when it is ready and what it costs, and you choose whether to add it.
Will my site look like everyone else’s?
No. Your colours, name, photos, prices and areas make it your own.
Are the gas safety certificates proper?
They follow the standard landlord gas safety record layout with appliance checks, readings, defects and signatures. You check and confirm every reading, then send.
Does it work with QuickBooks?
Export invoices as a CSV that imports into QuickBooks.
What does the AI PA actually do?
You name it and pick a British voice. Each morning it reads out your jobs, overdue invoices and reminders due.
